Frequently Asked Questions

  • I did not get an entry form to mail back. WHY?

Current US Postal regulations will not allow us to mail entry forms. GREAT NEWS!!! In 2010 you can get a 10% discounted price if you order on-line, by phone or if you walk in any Wright Pat Credit Union in the greater Dayton area.

  • How do I know if I have won?

Within 24 hours after each drawing we will call each winner and add the winners to the hot line at 866-441-4255. Winners will be listed on hotline and website by noon the day of the drawing.

  • What is the deadline for each of the 3 drawings?

Ticket Purchasing deadline for Wright Pat Credit Union is Thursday 6pm on March 4, April 1 and April 29.  Ticket Purchasing deadline via Phone, Website or Walk-In at Catholic Central Schools or Lehman HS is Tuesday 4pm on March 9, April 6 and May 4.  Any tickets sold after the deadline will be eligible for next drawing.

  • How will I know what my entry # is?

We will mail each buyer a confirmation with your entry #'s within 2 – 3 weeks of purchase. Just because you don't have your confirmation card prior to a drawing doesn't mean that you are not in the drawing. As long as your entry form arrives prior to the drawing deadline noted in previous question you will be entered in the drawing and we will contact you if you have won.

  • Can I buy more than 1 ticket?

Yes, and if you buy three gold tickets you get one free.

  • Is it possible for a group of people to buy a ticket?

Yes, any number can go together to buy a ticket. All we request is that one name is on the ticket entry form. That person would be the one responsible to split the winning proceeds with other members of the group.

  • How will the odds change after each drawing?

Your best bet is to get your purchase in early to be eligible for all 3 drawings. Theoretically it is possible for one number to win all 3 drawings. However, many people will not be buying until later for a variety of reasons - income tax refund, seasonal employment, etc - this is not a problem. If you miss the first early bird drawing there are still a majority of prizes available and your odds are still a very good 1 in 21 with the purchase of a gold ticket. If tickets are still available and you buy after the second drawing there are still a majority of prizes available and your odds are still a very good 1 in 23 with the purchase of a gold ticket.

  • What are the chances that all prizes will not be awarded?

Our past history is EXCELLENT. All prizes have been awarded as advertised in past American Dream Raffles in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
